About us and our new factory!

Hi folks. I'm Steven, the owner, inventor, and manufacturer.

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and yes, I'm a nuclear engineer.  I've lived in California since 1995.

IronWood Designs: My company has always been a home for unique ideas, methods, and products. From airbrushing to welding, we have the capability (and patience) to combine physics, materials, and knowledge to form solutions. We specialize in vacuum veneering, prototype construction, computer and software tools, and engineering analysis.

Bloxygen: Over 25 years ago, Bloxygen was born. It is a smart, simple, and cost effective way to prevent wasted time or wasted finish. Drop us a line to learn more. If you have found a new use for Bloxygen, let us know; if it's new to us, we will send you a fee can!

Factory: In 2023, we decided that it made more sense to handle all of our manufacturing so we built a small factory near our home in Oceano, California.  We purchased our equipment locally and our main production line machine was handmade in Chicago, Illinois.  Bloxygen is made from components made here in the USA as well.  Each can is made by hand and we rigorously test our setup constantly.  Our goal is perfection.  We truly are made in the USA!
